The work studies the characteristics and develops fundamental solutions to design elements and the general configuration of the EHPA, which is part of the servo-hydraulic drive. The paper analyzes the device, operating principles, and basic requirements for EHPAs. A digital model is built and a basic version of an electromechanical converter (EMC) is tested to assess its electromagnetic and thermal state.
