Innovative management of healthy mass sports on example of University Geomedi
At the initial stages of market reforms, with the scientific research conducted at the University Geomedi, we came out against the institution of the "Chief Doctor" in the post-Soviet space and proposed to the society the proper education and use of medicine management professionals. As well, in every type of sport, we urgently need professionals of narrow specialization, whose shortage is increasingly felt, along with the modern development of the demands of sports. Based on many years of experience, we have developed principles of management focused on our own capabilities, instead of focusing on utopian goals, and logically, in the management of sports, we have aimed to offer genetically characteristic traditional types of sports to people of all age groups (including student youth), making maximum use of natural environmental conditions and human capabilities. As a result, despite the small scale of the university, many noteworthy results of international importance were achieved in sports and quality life expectancy for the academic staff and students employed at the university. In the process of the presented research, the method of multi-factor economic grouping with elements of physics and prognostic extrapolation was mainly used. The population of different age groups was surveyed and both the benefits and the acute need for healthy mass sports were highlighted especially in the post-crisis and naturally for the most modern post-COVID-19 periods.
