A system for measurement of seawater parameters: Statistical postprocessing of collected data
The measurement system for real-time monitoring of water parameters in mariculture farms, along with early warning algorithms for anomalies, has been developed within the research center for INTELligent, innovative, environmentally friendly, and sustainable MARICulture (INTEL-MARIC). This system enables the collection of data on 9 different water parameters. In addition to presenting the main developments achieved within the INTEL-MARIC project, this paper provides an analysis of the data collected from the Krka River in Croatia over a 1-year period. The paper includes a statistical analysis of the measured data, a correlation analysis between different seawater parameters, and descriptions of the measurement and early warning systems. Furthermore, the multiprobe maintenance procedure is described, and the potential use of similar systems in different fields is discussed.
