Even after the emergence of Omics and several such splendid bioinformatics tools, a substantial number of researchers need to become more familiar with these tools. This review focuses on the applications of various in silico tools and technologies that may be adopted to analyse the plant sciences. The understanding of these different technologies shall lead us to a better understanding of plant properties such as stress tolerance, pathogenic resistance nutritional improvement.
