The role of the service sector in the economy

The service sector occupies a predominant position in the economies of many countries of the world with different types of political systems, levels of economic development, territory, population, and sociocultural characteristics. Despite the fact that in some countries a "service" economy has fully developed, and in others the service sector does not play such a significant role, in general we can talk about a general trend towards a global increase in the role of the service sector in the global economic space. The Russian service sector, which for a long time was not considered a priority sector of the national economy, has undergone dramatic changes in recent years. The article examines the problems of the role of services as a sector of the economy.
