The researchers adopted a descriptive approach. The sample size of this research study is 217 respondents who are nurses from the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) corporate centre at Nandanam, covering its areas within Chennai city. The tool used for this study purpose was the questionnaire, consisting of eight constructs: training, compensation, cohesion, autonomy, workload, non-monetary benefits, nurses’ satisfaction and nurses’ retention. The socio-demographic factors such as age, gender, qualification, annual income, employment type, experience, marital status and designation were considered. Data analysis was done using SPSS 21.0. The reliability measures ensured the consistency of the data set. Percentage analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and multiple regression are the statistical tests used.
