With the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), hydrological modelling has experienced a significant transformation in recent years. This paper reviews the recent advances in AI-based hydrological modelling and examines its potential applications in water resource management. The study highlights the role of AI in enhancing the accuracy of hydrological models and facilitating more efficient and sustainable water management practices.
