Patient Profile of Primary Peritonitis, Secondary Peritonitis, and Tertiary Peritonitis
Background: Peritonitis is an inflammation that occurs in the peritoneum. The complex structure of the abdomen makes diagnosing and treating intraperitoneal infections challenging in the practice of medicine. Purpose: This study aims to determine the profile of primary peritonitis, secondary peritonitis, and tertiary peritonit patients treated at RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado in 2022. Methods: This study used a retrospective descriptive method using medical record data of peritonitis patients during the period January – December 2022. Result : Peritonitis patients are treated at RSUP. Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado most often occurs in men. Generally occurs in the age group of 19-59 years.
