Methods: Descriptive correlational design was used. The setting was the Faculties of Nursing at the University of Menoufia, Tanta, Banha and Cairo, Egypt. Multistage random sampling technique was employed to select 200 nursing faculty academic staff. Tool1: Faculty Stress Index (FSI). Tool2: Job Satisfaction Survey. Tool3: Coping Strategies Questionnaire. Results : The main findings of this study illustrated that the majority of faculty members under study were found to have a moderate level of job stress and low level of job satisfaction. Also, the most frequent coping strategies employed were prayer followed by spending time with family and relaxation. Also, the most frequent sources of stress were the dimensions of rewards & recognition and professional identity. Conclusion : There was a statistically significant negative correlation between all job stress dimensions and total job stress with job satisfaction. Levels of stress and satisfaction significantly differed according to the demographic characteristics of participants. 摘要

目的:本研究旨在探讨护理学院教学人员的工作压力和应对策略及其与工作满意度的关系。研究方法采用描述性相关设计。研究地点为埃及梅努菲亚大学、坦塔大学、班哈大学和开罗大学的护理学院。采用多阶段随机抽样技术选取了 200 名护理系教职员工。工具 1:教师压力指数(FSI)。工具 2:工作满意度调查。工具 3:应对策略问卷。结果:本研究的主要结果表明,被研究的大多数教职员工的工作压力处于中等水平,工作满意度处于较低水平。此外,最常采用的应对策略是祈祷,其次是陪伴家人和放松。此外,最常见的压力来源是奖励和认可以及职业认同。结论:所有工作压力维度和总工作压力与工作满意度之间均存在统计学意义上的显著负相关。压力和满意度水平因参与者的人口统计学特征而存在明显差异。建议 :改善护理教职员工的生活条件,采用经批准的激励、奖励和晋升机制,将有利于最大限度地降低压力水平和提高工作满意度。
