Culture of indigenous native peoples: awakening the students' imagination

This account of experience derives from a history teaching project implemented in the school, with the purpose of providing students with a space for reflection on indigenous culture. Our journey began with the intriguing question: How to awaken the imagination of students to reflect on the culture of the original peoples? The conduct of this initiative was based on the methodology of participant observation for data collection and development of this study. The application of this project has resulted in students being open to think and reflect on the importance of indigenous cultural richness, seeking to overcome any form of prejudice or discrimination.
