Therefore, this study focuses on examining the influence of knowledge acquisition and knowledge provision on individual creativity and service innovation in the banking sector. The structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to analyze survey data from 282 employees working in the banking sector in Vietnam. The results show that knowledge acquisition has a direct positive influence on creativity and service innovation. Knowledge acquisition also has an indirect positive influence on service innovation through the mediating role of creativity. Furthermore, knowledge provision has a direct positive influence on knowledge acquisition and an indirect positive influence on creativity and service innovation.
