On the Fire Safety of Electric-Vehicle Battery Packs
Abstract
A review is presented of the literature on the problems of fire safety of electric vehicles, early fire-warning methods based on the electrochemical mechanism, fire protection at the level of electrochemical reactions, and improvement of cell design and fire detection. Prospects for improving fireproof structures are considered.
