He provided invaluable support and service during a period of many changes in the TSHA, including a sojourn in Denton and the implementation of new bylaws that restructured TSHA publication processes. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.</p> <h2><em>TSHA</em></h2> <p>The TSHA will host its 128th Annual Meeting at College Station on February 28–March 2, 2024, at the Texas A&M University Conference Center. All guests will be treated to cocktails, a fine dinner, and a wonderful presentation by featured speaker Carolina Castillo Crimm. The location for the Symposium itself on April 27 has not been decided, but the theme is \"The Days Leading Up to the Battle.\" The speakers will be Jeff Dunn, Gregg Dimmick, Don Frazier and a panel focusing on the Tejano side of the story. The panel members have yet to be determined.</p> <p>The latest issues of <em>Texas Historian</em> and <em>Touchstone</em> are out, and they look great! The latter includes the top submissions by middle and high school students for Texas History Day, and the latter presents essays written by college and university students in Texas. There are chapters of Texas Historians for the younger students in many schools across Texas, and many institutions of higher education in the Lone Star State have chapters of the Webb Society for their students.
