Sixty-two teachers completed the survey. The objective was to find out if there were common practices among English language teachers, that might mark effective language classes. Analysis showed that there were no prevailing teaching styles. However, certain procedures seemed to be more frequent than others, particularly those techniques that teachers believed to be more effective, most probably out of their experience in the teaching profession.
