Again, it tests whether moral identity moderates the relationship between ethical leadership and psychological capital. With data collected from 177 public servants in Malawi, this study’s findings reveal that psychological capital fully mediates the relationship between ethical leadership and work engagement while it partially mediates the ethical leadership-job satisfaction link. Furthermore, the results reveal that moral identity moderates the relationship between ethical leadership and psychological capital. Ethical leadership, psychological capital, work engagement and job satisfaction: the moderating role of moral identity in the Malawi government sector
