The methodological basis axiological approach as one of the key approaches in the formation of values. It is based on the understanding of value as the basis of human existence and attitude to the world. Results. The psychological and pedagogical conditions under which a value-based attitude towards science is formed are identified; activities are proposed with the help of which future engineers can put into practice their interest in scientific and technical creativity.
