Artificial intelligence algorithms can be used to diagnose diseases, monitor progression, analyze images, and evaluate treatment effectiveness by using digital data led by direct photography, fundus photography and optical coherence tomography. These programs can be used to make quick and accurate decisions in clinical applications in all areas of ophthalmology, especially diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration.
