Berdasarkan Profil Kesehatan Indonesia, pada tahun 2019 terdapat 2.549 kasus diare dengan angka Case Fatality Rate (CFR) sebesar 1.14%, dan tertinggi pada balita (7.0%). Laporan Dinas Ksehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, Kabupaten Wakatobi menempati urutan ke sepuluh dengan presetase sebesar 17,26%. Pada tahun 2021 jumlah kasus diare yang ditangani di Kabupaten Wakatobi sebanyak 2.774 kasus, diantaranya 654 kasus diare pada balita dari jumlah penduduk sebanyak 102.759 jiwa. Berdasarkan data Puskesmas Wangi-wangi Selatan bahwa tahun 2020 prevalensi diare ditemukan sebanyak 136 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian penyakit diare di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wangi-Wangi Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode cross cectional study. Sampel penelitian yaitu ibu balita berjumlah 99 orang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis menggunakan software SSPSS dengan analisis regresi liner berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu, sikap ibu, tindakan ibu, sosial budaya dan lingkungan fisik dengan kejadian diare pada balita di Puskesmas Wangi-wangi Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan bagi pemerintah, khususnya dinas kesehatan agar dapat melakukan penyuluhan atau edukasi mengenai bahaya penyakit diare pada balita dan cara pencegahan penyakit tersebut serta melengkapi sarana dan prasarana pendukung. Based on the Indonesia Health Profile 2019, the number diarrhea cases were 2,549 and the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.14% which the highest diarrhea prevalence in toddler. Health office of Southeast Sulawesi Province reported Wakatobi Regency ranked tenth with a prevalence of diarrheal disease (17.26%). Out of 102,759 population, there 2,774 cases of diarrhea were treated in Wakatobi Regency in 2021, including 654 cases among children. According to the data of Health Center Wangi-wangi Selatan, the number of diarrhea cases in 2020 were 136. This study aimed to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of diarrhea in the working area of the South Wangi-Wangi Health Center, Wakatobi Regency in 2022. A quantitative study with cross-sectional design was conducted in this study. The sample was mother of children under five with a total of 99 respondents who were taken out by purposive sampling. Data collection used questionaries then analyzed using SSPSS software with multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was relationship between mother's knowledge, mother's attitude, mother's practice, social culture and physical environment with the incidence of diarrhea among toddlers at the South Wangi-wangi Health Center, Wakatobi Regency. Based on the result, it is hoped that the government, especially the health office to be able to conduct health education regarding the risks of diarrhea in toddlers and the prevention measures as well as complete the supporting facilities and infrastructure.
