Articles investigating patients aged 18 to 65 years with coronary heart disease were included. The analysis included only publications of the last 10 years (2013–2023). As a result of the analyzed literature, most of the publications of the last 10 years are devoted to studies conducted on persons over 65 years of age. At the same time, the available large studies and meta-analyses indicate a large contribution of adipocytokines to the development and course of coronary heart disease.
