The volume of memories, confessions and various contributions coordinated by Adrian Netedu, professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Iaşi, expresses the appreciation enjoyed in the country and abroad by the honoree, the professor emeritus, sociologist, literary critic and essayist Mihai Dinu Gheorghiu, on his 70th birthday. The scientific and publishing activity of Professor M.D.G. has produced 18 published books (of which three books published in France), 18 translated and prefaced books, 34 studies in edited volumes, published in the country and abroad, over 80 studies in specialty magazines, numerous reviews and reports of research as well as ten course matters.
