The data is collected from\n\nthe research papers contained in the Web of Science Core Collection, covering studies on AI applications in\n\nvarious NDT methods employed across different industry sectors. The collected 654 research articles-dataset\n\npublished between April 1989 and January 2023 was processed using CiteSpace software, which classified the\n\ndataset into twelve clusters. Moreover, a subset of the data pertaining to the relevant research in the nuclear\n\nindustry was considered for analysis. Various metrics were used to analyse the consistency of the clusters and\n\npublications' influence and quality.
