It has been shown that in the course of the welding deposition, chromium carbide decomposes, which results in alloying the weld-deposited metal with chromium and carbon and leads, in turn, to the formation of chromium carbides in the weld-deposited metal, as well as to an increase in the hardness of the deposited layer.
