In that context, this research aims to analyze the efficiency of for-profit nursing homes with a focus on Croatian for-profit nursing homes from 2015 to 2019. In order to estimate different kinds of efficiencies, precisely to estimate technological change, which can’t be estimated through windows DEA, and technical efficiency changes, the Malmquist -- DEA performance measure was chosen for this analysis. The results show that for-profit nursing homes in our sample experienced an increase in the total factor productivity by 12.67 % in the analyzed period, where the decline in technical efficiency (-0.21 %) was compensated by an increase in technological change (13.16 %). 摘要

开办营利性养老院的动机与开展任何其他业务的动机是一样的，而且由于各种人口和社会变化，对这一部门的兴趣，特别是在发达国家，未来将会增加。在此背景下，本研究旨在分析营利性养老院的效率，重点关注2015年至2019年克罗地亚营利性养老院。为了估计不同类型的效率，准确地估计技术变化，这是无法通过窗口DEA估计的，技术效率的变化，本文选择Malmquist - DEA绩效指标进行分析。结果表明，在分析期内，盈利性养老院的全要素生产率提高了12.67%，其中技术效率的下降(- 0.21%)被技术变革的增加(13.16%)所补偿。虽然技术创新将相对效率边界提升到更高的水平，但我们样本中的营利性养老院离最佳生产边界还很远，突出了管理效率低下。
