This research specifically investigates the application of the 2013 English Curriculum at a state yunior high school in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia, utilizing a qualitative evaluative approach. The study, conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Palembang, involved two English teachers and eighth-grade students. The findings revealed that the English teachers adhered to standard content and government syllabi when developing lesson plans. Teaching methods and assessments also aligned with government policies. Additionally, factors such as teacher quality, resource accessibility, and community involvement were identified as potential influencers on curriculum effectiveness. 摘要
印度尼西亚不断加强教育课程的目的是提高教育的整体质量。本研究特别调查了2013年英语课程在印度尼西亚南苏门答腊岛巨港一所州立初中的应用，采用定性评估方法。这项研究是在SMP Negeri 1 Palembang进行的，涉及两名英语教师和八年级学生。调查结果显示，英语教师在制定课程计划时遵循标准内容和政府教学大纲。教学方法和评估也与政府政策保持一致。此外，教师素质、资源可及性和社区参与等因素被确定为课程有效性的潜在影响因素。虽然课程已经发展，但评估2013年课程可以为印度尼西亚教育课程的未来改进提供有价值的见解。
