However, from empirical studies, the relationship between top management team characteristics and firm performance has yet to achieve consistent conclusions. 作为企业最重要的人力资源,高层管理人员受到了众多研究者的关注,Hambrick and Mason(1984)提出的顶层梯队理论为研究高层管理团队特征与企业绩效之间的关系奠定了理论基石。现有研究主要关注高层管理团队特征对企业绩效的影响,采用高层管理团队人口统计学特征作为衡量高层管理团队特征的代理变量。然而,从实证研究来看,高层管理团队特征与企业绩效之间的关系尚未得出一致的结论。本文回顾了高层管理团队特征与企业绩效关系的研究脉络,分析了现有研究的局限性,并从团队生命周期的新视角提出了未来研究方向。
