Die „Transformation“ des pastoralpsychologischen Ausbildungsmodells für die Seelsorge-Arbeit in der DDR

Since the end of the 60s of the 20th century, the “pastoral care movement” founded in the USA has also come to the GDR. This happened mainly through intensive mediation efforts by western pastoral psychological colleagues. The transfer processes of that time are examined from personal, East German and West German perspectives. Of central importance is the question of how the pastoral psychological learning model underwent remarkable modifications under the quite different social conditions in the GDR. Today, the question arises whether some aspects of this process should not gain more attention in the now very changed religious landscape of the united republic.
