With this purpose in mind, the study tries to seek an answer to the question: “Is the psychoeducational group counseling program prepared to increase the 4th-grade primary school students’ school attachment effective in increasing their school attachment?” The sample of the study consisted of 10 students in a primary school in Şahinbey town of Gaziantep city in the 2018-2019 school year. The results show that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of the students who attended the school attachment scale. Based on these results, it can be said that the psychoeducational program, which was established to increase the student's school attachment, has a significant effect on increasing the school attachment levels of the students in the experimental group.
