Классическая монгольская письменность как социокультурный феномен

The article is devoted to identifying the main trends in the development of classical Mongolian writing in the regions of Russia, China and Mongolia in modern conditions. The focus of the study is on the features of the development of classical Mongolian writing in the regions of Russia in the context of interethnic and interstate interaction in Inner Asia. As a result, the authors reveal that the classical Mongolian script is currently in the process of accumulating potential opportunities to expand its use in the Baikal Region. Of fundamental importance in this regard is the expansion of the sphere of official use of the classical Mongolian script in the regions of Russia, where it is currently used in the socio-cultural sphere, in the field of tourism.
