Conception to activate the role of Saudi universities through their programs in both Arabic and foreign languages

The critical understanding of the text written in the most widely spoken foreign language (English) has become a bedrock to many academic and social breakthrough while an understanding of Arabic text gives context to the written text. The article aims to seek the role of Saudi universities in developing free and critical reading among university students in both Arabic and English languages as the development of any nation depends on competent and skilled graduates that are capable of critical thinking geared towards problem solving and the application of knowledge.
