He earned his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Auburn University. His research interests include smart tourism, mobile and computer-mediated communication, virtual community, Metaverse platforms, healthcare IT, blockchain technology, and business simulation games. His publications have appeared in premier journals such as Information & Management, Information Technology & People, Journal of Organization End User Computing, Internet Research, Telematics and Informatics, and the Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems. He has also authored many conference proceedings, and his works have been presented at prestigious national and international MIS/IS conferences. He currently serves as an associate editor for the Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems, Knowledge Management Review, and the Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications.
