A Violência Contra a Mulher no Brasil: Ênfase no Período da Pandemia

O estudo em questão discorre sobre o cenário da violência contra as mulheres que ocorreu de forma lamentável em meio à pandemia da Covid-19. O tema abordado se justifica tendo em vista que o número de denúncias de abusos e, até mesmo casos de morte, fez com que fosse necessário o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa. Mediante isso, existe uma problemática que se buscou entender sobre o aumento da violência doméstica em tempos de pandemia, visto que tal prática é proibida. O objetivo deste artigo foi explanar o assunto violência doméstica contra a mulher, para o qual traçaram-se os objetivos específicos, sendo estes: apresentar o conceito histórico da violência doméstica contra a mulher; conceituar a Lei Maria da Penha; e trazer qual a situação da mulher violentada na pandemia. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. A pesquisa constatou que, mesmo diante de tantas leis e decretos que foram surgindo ao longo dos anos, ainda assim as mulheres são consideradas seres vulneráveis mediante uma sociedade patriarcal. ABSTRACT The present research, entitled “Violence against women: emphasis in the pandemic period”, discusses the scenario of violence that occurred in a resounding way in the midst of the pandemic. The theme addressed is justified considering that the number of reports of abuse and even cases of death made it necessary to develop this research. The problems that we sought to answer were: what happens in situations in which women are exposed to violence; what are the types of violence; expose the Maria da Penha Law and its main points; and how the increase in domestic violence affects women in times of a pandemic. The general objective was to explain the subject “domestic violence against women”. The specific objectives are: to present the historical concept of domestic violence against women; conceptualize the Maria da Penha Law; and bring the situation of the woman raped in the pandemic. The methodology used was bibliographic research. The research found that, even in the face of so many laws and decrees that have emerged, women are still considered vulnerable before in a patriarchal society. Keywords: Women.
