Navigating Social Media Use in Group Psychotherapy

Abstract Background/Objective: This article sheds light on the often overlooked topic of incorporating social media use in group psychotherapy. Methods: Through the presentation of three practical examples, the influence of social media on the therapeutic process in group psychotherapy is explored, while also examining the various factors that contribute to online behavior and interactions. Discussion/Conclusion: Furthermore, the article provides recommendations for therapists on effectively integrating social media into group therapy sessions.
