A Decolonialidade no campo da Biblioteconomia a intersecção com a biblioteca universitária

This essay aims to contribute with aspects, reflections and theories related to decoloniality in the field of Librarianship, more precisely in the field of university libraries, verifying existing decolonial actions regarding culture and practices through the integration of the library and itsusers. The context of decolonial relations in the academic scenario is verified, covering educational, social and cultural areas and information. It is also verified how the librarian, through histraining, can work with aspects related to decoloniality. Finally, the issue of diversity in academic libraries is seen both in the theoretical and practical aspects, related to the best actions of promotion and social equity.
