Data for this qualitative study was collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 Ugandan workers who live and work in Türkiye. As a result of the thematic analysis, the following three main themes were determined: Pre-migration experiences in Uganda, reasons for migrating to Türkiye, and post-migration experiences of Ugandan workers. The study findings show that some of the challenges Ugandan workers faced before migration continued after migration and this situation created a cycle of challenge.
