And to find out the communication barriers of librarians in overcoming vandalism behavior in the Medan Area University (UMA) library. The theory used in this research is the librarian's interpersonal communication theory. This type of research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study can be seen that the communication relationship of librarians in overcoming the vandalism behavior is good and good, and they provide each other with feedback and assistance in overcoming the vandalism behavior. The form of communication that occurs between librarians at the Medan Area University Library is interpersonal communication, namely direct communication by means of face to face or not, the type of communication carried out at the Medan Area University Library is formal communication, usually holding meetings to discuss progress and problems in the library, communication characteristics at the Medan Area University Library, namely face to face communication, then messages can be conveyed through verbal and non-verbal communication symbols. different priorities and different opinions so that the message conveyed is not in accordance with what is expected.

摘要

本研究旨在探讨棉兰地区大学(UMA)图书馆馆员在克服破坏行为时的沟通模式。并找出在解决棉兰地区大学(UMA)图书馆故意破坏行为中馆员的沟通障碍。本研究运用的理论是图书馆员人际交往理论。这种类型的研究采用定性方法和描述性方法。本研究结果可以看出,图书馆员在克服破坏行为方面的沟通关系是良好的、良好的,他们在克服破坏行为方面相互提供反馈和帮助。在棉兰地区大学图书馆馆员之间发生的沟通形式是人际沟通,即面对面或不面对面的直接沟通,在棉兰地区大学图书馆进行的沟通类型是正式沟通,通常召开会议讨论图书馆的进展和问题,在棉兰地区大学图书馆的沟通特点,即面对面的沟通;然后通过语言和非语言交流符号来传达信息。不同的优先级和不同的意见,使传达的信息不符合预期。 关键词:传播模式,图书馆员,故意破坏。
