RESPON BEBERAPA TAKARAN KOMPOS TANDAN KOSONG KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jack) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN PADI GOGO (Oryza sativa L.)
Research in the form of a field experiment with the title "The Effect of Giving Several Measures of Empty Oil Palm Bunches Compost (Elaeis guineensis Jack) on the Growth and Yield of Upland Rice Plants (Oryza sativa L)" was carried out on campus land at the Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University, West Sumatra. This experiment used a Randomized Block Design, with five treatments and four groups, so the total consisted of 20 experimental plots. Each plot contained 20 clumps with three sample plants. The treatment is A. 0 tons/ha, B. 5 tons/ha, C. 10 tons/ha, D. 15 tons/ha, E. 20 tons/ha. The observation data was averaged and analyzed statistically using the F test at a real level of 5%. If the F calculated from the F table is 5%, then it was continued with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test at a real level of 5%. Experimental results showed that applying 5 tons/ha of empty oil palm fruit bunch compost showed the best growth and yield in upland rice plants.
