This paper proposes a teaching research on the course based on practical tests, and presents a case study on design of steel columns in China. The buckling modes and finial failure modes of the cold-formed steel (CFS) columns were visually shown in the tests, and they were compared to the theoretical presentations in textbooks. 摘要

《钢结构设计》作为土木工程领域的重要课程之一,越来越受到高校教师的重视。钢构件复杂的失效模式或屈曲模式导致学生对理论模型的理解与工程实际存在偏差。本文提出了一种基于实际测试的课程教学研究方法,并以国内钢柱设计为例进行了研究。试验直观地显示了冷弯型钢柱的屈曲模式和最终破坏模式,并与教科书上的理论描述进行了比较。此外,还推荐了一套标准的测试教学程序,供其他非工程实践课程的进一步教学研究之用。
