An interpretative phenomenological analysis approach was used, with data being collected via semi-structured interviews. Seven older adults and six students who participated in the most recent program were interviewed. “Forming Connections,” “Getting to Know the Older Adults” and “Assisting the Students Through the Learning Process” were the key themes that emerged from the data.
