The generalized Drazin inverse of an operator matrix with commuting entries

Abstract We present new results for the generalized Drazin inverse of 2 × 2 {2\times 2} anti-triangular matrices with commuting entries over a Banach algebra. As an application, the g -Drazin invertibility of block-operator matrices is obtained under new wider conditions.
