SYNTHESIS OF NANOSIZED FeCo, FeCo@SiO2 PARTICLES AND THEIR PHYSICAL CHEMICAL INVESTIGATION
Bimetallic nanocomposite particles of FeCo and FeCo@SiO2 were prepared by chemical reduction of Co(II) and Fe(II) salts in solutions. The particle size, morphology and composition of the nanocomposites were studied by transmission and scanning electron microscopy, powder XRD, X-ray fluorescence and complex thermal analysis. It was established that the synthesized powders consist of spherical particles with an average size of 4 to 35 nm, which are aggregated into chains or more complex amorphous structures. It was shown that the calcination of samples in an inert atmosphere makes it possible to fix the crystalline phase of the FeCo alloy.
