The research aims to determine the need for stirrup reinforcement using a method based on field data with the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) approach. The BBS method minimises the waste of material so that it only leaves the material in the screw-type iron reinforcement, around 14.79% for iron reinforcement with a diameter of 10 mm and 6.65% for iron reinforcement with a diameter of 16 mm. As well as for plain iron reinforcement, only leave material around 0.01% on mm diameter iron reinforcement.
