The results revealed that participants use social media to attend online classes, to gather information for doing their homework, to communicate with their friends, and to play games by using mobile phones, tablets, PCs and smart TVs. 68% of students take precautions to ensure their safety, 57% are aware of the potential risks and harms of social media, and 93% of them do not communicate with people they do not know personally.
