The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 2022 version) was used to analyse data. Results reveal that the majority of small business owners (51.3%) believe that the City Council is not doing enough for the sustainability of small businesses. Contribution of Kumba City Councils to the Emergence of Small Businesses in Kumba Municipality, Small Business Owners Perception
