Some of the jobs of the people on Tanjung Putra Yudha 2 Street, Sukun, Malang City are scavengers and pedicab drivers. Since late 2019 there has been a COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS CoV-2 virus, which has caused more than 2.33 million deaths worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused family food availability to be insufficient and reduced family food, this also affects the economy in the form of a decrease in income but has a high enough expenditure every month to meet family food needs. Hydroponics is a technology used on critical land so that it can remain productive. Hydroponic systems can be used on plants that have the properties to utilize nutrients in water, examples of suitable vegetables include mustard greens, spinach, and kale. The hydroponic system can provide economic benefits from the harvest that can be sold or fulfill daily needs. This training was conducted in several stages, including pretest assessment, introduction to the hydroponic system, preparation of tools and materials, workmanship, mentoring, and evaluation in the form of a post-test. The results of the questionnaire filling were analyzed using the one group pretest-posttest method and obtained an average score of 30.7 pretest and 96.7 posttest.
