The cases that are taken into account are; fixed base model, base isolated model and base and mid-story isolated model. All three models are analyzed by excluding and including soil-structure interaction. Three different earthquakes are used for the time-history analysis. It is concluded that the seismic performance is enhanced by the implementation of base and mid-story isolation to the structure.
