Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI MI Pamoyanan tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 16 orang siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi guru, dan siswa sebagai tingkat keterlaksanaan dan pencapaian dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving. Hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah dapat dilihat dari hasil tes prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Pada tes prasiklus nilai rata-rata 58,75 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 25%, pada siklus 1 pertemuan I mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 61,87 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 34% dan pada siklus 1 pertemuan II mengalami peningkatan juga dengan nilai rata-rata 70,62 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 59%. Pada siklus 2 pertemuan I mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 75,00 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 73%, dan pada siklus 2 pertemuan II mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 81,25 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 84%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Solving dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan cacah di kelas VI MI Pamoyanan.Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving, Matematika ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VI MI Pamoyanan students by using the Problem Solving learning model on whole number arithmetic operations. Data collection was carried out by testing problem solving abilities, teacher observation sheets, and students as the level of implementation and achievement in using the Problem Solving learning model. The results of problem solving abilities can be seen from the results of pre-cycle tests, cycle I and cycle II. In the pre-cycle test the average score was 58.75 with a learning completeness percentage of 25%, in cycle 1 meeting I there was an increase with an average student score of 61.87 with a learning completeness percentage of 34% and in cycle 1 meeting II there was also an increase with a score an average of 70.62 with a learning completeness percentage of 59%.
