Communication, encompassing a wide range of social, political, cultural, and educational meanings, acquires special status and significance in the post-industrial society. However, few pay attention to the role played by the phenomenon of “simultaneous non-simultaneity” in the modern world. The communicative practices of the 19th century provide a conceptual key to understanding why Ukraine's integration into the global cultural space as a unique subject encounters difficulties resulting from previous development.
