The surge of activity in relations between North Korea and Russia

North Korea’s leader attended a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of a week-long trip to Russia’s Far East that apparently focused on weapons exchanges and other cooperation initiatives, although the countries did not announce any firm agreements that resulted from the visit.
