In order to verify the adequacy of the mathematical model of the assessment of the influence of meteorological factors on the Rayleigh (molecular) scattering of electromagnetic waves in the atmosphere, the values of the molecular scattering coefficient calculated using the appropriate formula and were reconciled with the data provided in the relevant literature sources. The obtained results show the adequacy of the model. For a more detailed study of the capabilities of the mathematical model, computational experiments were conducted. The obtained results showed that the proposed mathematical model can be successfully used in solving a number of practical problems. 摘要
