La collection des figurines en terre cuite du Musée National d’Athènes : formation et muséographie

Cet article traite de la formation de la collection des figurines en terre cuite du Musee National Archeologique d’Athenes, vers la fin du 19eme siecle, et de l’enrichissement du fonds initial des lors. De plus, il decrit les criteres archeologiques et museographiques utilises pour l’exposition permanente, en 2009, d’environ 500 figurines en terre cuite, et la creation d’un parcours non seulement chronologique et geographique, mais ponctuellement thematique. This article deals with the collection of terracotta figurines of the Athens National Archaeological Museum, its formation at the end of the 19th century and its enrichment thereafter. Moreover, it presents the archaeological and museographical criteria used for the permanent exhibition in 2009 of about 500 terracotta figurines, and the subsequent creation of a chronological and geographical, but also thematic display.
